1. Field of Study: List of Bachelor’s Degree Programs 

2. Program Length: 4 years of Chinese-taught programs.

3. Qualifications: High school graduate students, age 18 or above, healthy foreigners, new HSK 4 or old HSK 5 holders

4. Tuition: RMB 20000 per year.

5. Application Deadline: May 31, 2015. 

6. Term Starts: Each year in September. (The exact time will be written on the Admission Letter)

7. Application Method: Scholarship applicants are required to apply online and mail the required application documents to SMU. Self-supported students should mail their documents directly to SMU.

8. Application documents:

(1) Application form for International Students(see attachment);

(2) High School Diploma or official proof of expected graduation (the diploma or certificate must be in Chinese or English with official stamps of the high school or a notarized version in Chinese or English);

(3) Related transcripts (the original one must be in Chinese or English with official stamps of the high school or a notarized version in Chinese or English );

(4) Two recommendation letters from professor or associate professor, in Chinese or English;

(5) Copy of new HSK level-4 certificate or the old HSK level-5 certificate;

(6) passport

(8) Copy of application fee

9. Application Fee: RMB 400. If any of our programs are closed to applicants, you will receive a refund. Otherwise, application fee is not refundable. For further information, please see our"HOW TO PAY"section.

10. Enrollment: Shanghai Maritime University reserves the right to admit foreign students by written test or interview. The enrollment result will be issued in the middle of June, 2015. The offer package will be delivered after that.
